The Rollo Davidson Prize
The Rollo Davidson Prize commemorates Rollo Davidson (1944-1970). Since 1976, it has been awarded annually to young probabilists. The prize is awarded on the basis of nominations generated by the Rollo Davidson Trustees. The Trustees welcome letters recommending potential nominees. These should be addressed to the Chair of Trustees and be received by March 1 of the year for which they are intended.
The Rollo Davidson Trustees have pleasure in announcing the award of the Rollo Davidson Prize for 2024 jointly to
Pierre-Francois Rodriguez (Imperial College, London) for his outstanding work on percolation of the level sets of the Gaussian free field and the vacant set
of random walk and random interlacements and on the fluctuations of the discrete Gaussian model
and
Tianyi Zheng (University of California, San Diego) for her deep results and resolution of long-standing conjectures on random walks on groups
and
Ilya Chevyrev (University of Edinburgh) for his contributions to rough analysis and singular stochastic PDEs,
and in particular to our understanding of the 2D Yang-Mills measure.
