Hi! I am a Phd student researching statistical approaches to official data with a view towards public policy questions, under the supervision of Professor Sir John Aston, former Chief Scientific Advisor at the UK Home Office.

My current research interests include:

  • spatially referenced functional data
  • phase registration of time series
  • dynamic spatiotemporal and functional modelling
  • Covid infection and death analysis

Teaching

I supervise* undergraduate Statistics courses in the Mathematical Tripos of the University of Cambridge. Here I provide some useful resources for my students.

*Supervisions are a form of teaching at the University of Cambridge where—in general, in Mathematics—a supervisor and two undergraduates sit down together for an hour to go through example questions in each lectured course. It is often touted by the University as a key selling point of their undergraduate courses.
