Support for Statistical Research Workshops
The RSS research section has a small budget to support Statistical Research Workshops. Applications will be
considered at regular intervals during the year.
We support, typically, student/post-doc attendance to the workshop, but are open to other applications.
it is unlikely we support more than £ 1000 per workshop.
there are no application forms, but please send an email to Richard Samworth with:
- description of the workshop
- general costing of the workshop
- specifics of the requested RSS contribution
(financial support and/or moral support in requesting funds from other bodies)
we would ask that if the application is successful, the RSS is acknowledged in the workshop material and at the workshop itself.
