I am a third year PhD student at the Statistical Laboratory which is part of the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at the University of Cambridge. I am also a member of Trinity College.

Research

I am working on Stochastic Networks under the supervision of Frank Kelly. My research focuses on understanding congestion phenomena in networks with multipath routing. I worked on multipath routing at the flow-level model with Michel Mandjes at the Universeit van Amsterdam which resulted in the following paper

Flow-level models for multipath routing, to appear in Performance Evaluation.

In 2009 I did an internship at Microsoft Research where I worked with Alexandre Proutiere on load balancing in systems where tasks have the ability to switch between queues. Together with Ayalvadi Ganesh, D.Manjunath and Florian Simatos we co-authored a paper

Load balancing via Random Local Search in closed and open systems, Proc. of ACM Sigmetrics 2010.

This paper won the ACM Sigmetrics 2010 Best Paper Award.

Talks

Flow-level models for multipath routing, EURANDOM, The Netherlands, September 2010
