Guidelines for Assignments
-
Make a summary of the concepts in the chapter.
-
In your report, include examples which you think will serve to explain the concepts well.
-
Outline questions, from the text, that should be set for home-work / exercises for that chapter.
-
Identify exercises that help to understand the concepts.
-
Also, identify exercises that help to enhance analytical ability.
-
You can work in pairs. If so, the pairs should be the same as your research projects.
-
Late submissions will not be accepted.
-
Each Assignment will carry a maximum of 3 negative marks, unless otherwise stated.
-
The assignments need not be typed, as long as they are clearly written.
-
Always try and see if you can learn anything from the chapter for your research project.
-
Either put the Assignments in my pigeon hole in EE office, or under my office door ESB 303C.
-
Untill all previous work is handed in, new assignments will not be marked.
-
If last assignment is not handed in, you will get an I [incomplete] grade.
-
For all examples and exercises you choose, give a mark: low [0-3],
medium [4-7], high [8-10].
This should represent the level of difficulty.
