Research

There's slightly more detail about things I've been interested in if you follow the link.

CV

Introduction to Representation Theory, by P. Etingof, O. Goldberg, S. Hensel, T. Liu, A. Schwendner, D. Vaintrob, and E. Yudovina! Also on Pavel Etingof's website.
(Really written by Pavel Etingof, who generously included his six "guinea pigs" from the Clay Math program (2004) as co-authors. Unfortunately, I don't remember what most of it is about any longer.)

Supervisions

I am currently (Lent 2012) not supervising anything.

Previously, I have been teaching examples classes for Part III Stochastic Networks (L2011, M2011 Frank Kelly). I have also supervised Part IB Markov Chains (M2010 Frank Kelly, M2011 Richard Weber), Part IB Optimisation (E2009 Richard Weber), Part II Applied Probability (L2009 Yuriy Suhov), Part II Principles of Statistics (M2011, Philip Dawid) and Part II Number Theory (M2009 John Coates).

See the supervisions page for more details, including some of the solution sheets.

Lecture notes

My other interests include number theory, hiking (sorry — hillwalking) and backpacking, beginner classical guitar, ice cream, ballroom dancing, and science fiction. They notably do not include writing web pages.
