I am a postdoctoral fellow in Statistical Laboratory, University of Cambridge. My host is Prof. Nathanaël Berestycki.

I finished my Phd in 2010 from the Department of Statistics at UC Berkeley. My advisors were Prof. Steven N. Evans and Prof. Elchanan Mossel.

Before coming to Berkeley, I did my Bachelors (B. Stat.) and Masters (M. Stat.) with a specialization in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta.

Research Interests: Random matrices, Coalescing particle system, Discrete Fourier analysis and Influences.

Teaching

I taught a mini-course on random matrices in Cambridge during Easter term, 2011.

In Lent 2012, I am teaching (jointly with Prof. James Norris) Part III course "Stochastic Calculus and its Applications".
