28th Research Students' Conference
(4th-7th April, 2005)

There will be a series of events and activities organised, during the conference, to enjoy Cambridge while you stay here and relax after the sessions.

image of Fitzwilliam College bar On the evening of the 4th there will be the traditional pub quiz at Fitzwilliam College, where you can meet the other delegates.

image of St John's playing grounds On Tuesday the 5th the afternoon session will be shorter and you are welcome either to join organised sport events in some facilities nearby the CMS, or to wander around Cambridge and visit some of the old Colleges.

After dinner, there will be a cocktail cruise on the Riverboat Georgina where you can enjoy a view of the city from the Cam. Alternatively, you can participate in a Ghost Tour, that will start in front of King's College, to find out about the most haunted places in the city centre.

image of King's College On Wednesday the 6th there will be a wine reception with a display from the sponsors to learn more about some possible career opportunities. The conference dinner will follow and both these events will take place in the beautiful surroundings of King's College. After the dinner the will be a ceilidh and...feel free to join the Scottish dances!
