CSI Special One-Day Meeting |
26th September 2011
jointly organised with the Design and Analysis of Experiments programme
Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences
The Cambridge Statistics Initiative (CSI) will host a third Special One-Day meeting, jointly organised with the Design and Analysis of Experiments programme at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences. This is part of continuing efforts to bring together statisticians from various fields within the University of Cambridge and outside, to meet as well as encourage new research collaborations within academia and industry. The previous CSI Special One-Day meeting was held in September 2009. The CSI is funded by the EPSRC Science and Innovation Award, Isaac Newton Institute, School of Physical Sciences, and Mathematics to enhance and foster innovative research into statistics, bridging applied and theoretical statistics.
The programme will consist of 23 talks (each lasting 10 minutes, followed by questions), as well as two poster sessions during the morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks. The updated programme is available here.
The list of titles and abstracts of talks can be found here. The list of titles and abstracts of posters can be found here.
