When you received your account, you agreed to abide by the rules made
by the Information Strategy and Services Syndicate. Some of the
rules listed below (such as not
sharing your account) are also mentioned there, while others (such as
not overloading the computers) are specific to the Statslab.
Their purpose is to help you use the Statslab computers
in a way which doesn't inconvenience other users or make it difficult
for me to keep them secure and running smoothly. If you are already
an experienced and responsible computer user, some of the rules may
seem obvious to you, but I have personally witnessed violations of
every one of them! Click on any rule for some more information about
what it means and why it's there.
